This is a beautiful necklace, I wish I had read the reviews before buying it though. The color does not have the iridescent shine that I was hoping for they are more of a flat black color. The clasp was difficult to open at first because it was bent a little, but I was able to adjust that myself. The packaging was great and it arrived just in time for me to wear to my son's wedding.

Lovely, classic, elegant necklace! The necklace is knotted between each pearl. The pearl color is dark and lustrous and even in tone through the entire necklace. The clasp is secure and contains a beautiful light-grey mother-of-pearl clasp. The length works with multiple necklines. Additionally, the necklace comes packaged in a lovely suede box that has snap holders to keep the necklace in presentation mode. I have searched for several months both online and in brick-and-mortar retail stores for a multiple-strand black pearl necklace to wear to a black-tie wedding and am delighted to have finally found the perfect one.

Necklace is nice and well made, however not what I wanted. The pearls are more of a matte black so they look like beads. I wanted luminous pearls with lots of color variations like purple, charcoal, blue, some greenish black pearls like the photo. I contacted the company and they were nice to respond to me and try to find me a necklace to replace mine, but they didn't have one like I requested in inventory, although they were willing to look for one in their next inventory supply. Returning the necklace.
